Attached is the op-order for CARES participation in the Oregon statewide Spring Simulated Emergency Test (SET) Saturday, 18-May-2024. There will be participation of ARES groups statewide and participation by OEM as well.

With this SET we are reestablishing regular state-wide SET’s driven by the SEC.

Participation by each Clackamas county sub-unit is required. AECs…. If you do not have anyone in a sub-unit able to participate I will direct CARES members from other sub-units to take up the effort.

I will be staffing the Clackamas county EOC ham radio room at the CUP building.

After your initial setup & check-in with the EOC, there will be specific sub-unit instructions for tasks which will be delivered via Winlink and/or voice.

I will be hosting a debrief activity / pizza luncheon at Jimmy O’s pizza Hilltop Oregon City after the SET at 1:30pm (1330 hours) at the conclusion of the SET activities (we have the SE corner of Jimmy O’s main dining room reserved). All participants are invited !
